Leak: Samsung to launch the next Galaxy Fold and Watch in August

However, it did inform us that we would learn more about the upcoming Google-approved smartwatch at its next Unpacked. The company did not specify when, but DigitalDaily News, via 9to5Google, has a report claiming that the next Unpacked event will be held on August 11th at 10 AM ET.According to reports, Samsung will launch five devices at the event.Galaxy Z Fold 3Galaxy Z Flip 3Galaxy Watch 4Galaxy Watch 4 ActiveGalaxy Buds 2The new Galaxy Watches won't use Tizen OS, which is a first for Samsung. Google and Samsung collaborated to redesign Wear OS from scratch, making it more user-friendly and efficient.The devices will be able to keep the long battery life Samsung smartwatches are known for while being compatible with Wear OS smartwatch apps. The watch will have a One UI Watch skin, as Samsung wouldn't be Samsung if they didn't add their own spin to the software.The Z Fold 3 is expected to refine the original Folds concept and not make any major changes to its form factor. Apart from the expected spec bump, the Z Fold 3 will be able to support the S-Pen.According to reports, the event will be broadcast via YouTube as usual. There is no indication that the company intends to hold a simultaneous physical event.
