Rangers announced John Lundstram's signing on a three year deal with Rangers after his contract at Sheffield United expired.Steven Gerrard signs the 27-year-old after Fashion Sakala, Nnamdi Ofoborh join the Premiership champions.Lundstram was part the Sheffield United team that won promotion to the Premier League in 2019. He impressed with his performance in England's top flight scoring five goals during his first season.Chris Wilder, the then-manager, confirmed that Lundstram had turned down several better offers to remain at the club in October 2013. Rangers have now confirmed that Lundstram has moved to Glasgow on a free transfer.Gerrard stated that John is a player he has known for a while and that he would be able to enhance our squad."Having played in the Premier League he has the undoubted ability to improve our midfield with both his technical ability, and his physicality. I was also impressed by his ambition and attitude when we spoke. John is a winner who knows what it takes to succeed in a club this size."He will bring steel and presence to our midfield, along with his quality, which makes our squad stronger.
