Tampa Mayor Jane Castor Wants Lightning to Lose to Canadiens to Win, Celebrate in TB

They head into Monday's Game 4.Jane Castor, Tampa Mayor, is hoping for Game 5. Castor said that she hopes the Lightning will have a chance to celebrate at home with Game 4 in Montreal and Game 5 to be played in Tampa.Castor stated Sunday that the Lightning should take it easy and give the Canadiens a break. They should win one at home and then bring it back up to the Amalie Arena to complete the Stanley Cup. We don't want get ahead of ourselves. They are playing amazing, incredible hockey."Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Lightning had to celebrate their 2020 Cup win without much fanfare. As part of a bubble arrangement, the NHL held the Stanley Cup Finale in Montreal.The Canadian border was closed to family and friends of players/staff for Games 3 and 4. In Montreal, the team would face a similar situation as last year.
