Golf pro, 2 others fatally shot at Georgia country club

KENNESAW (Ga.) -- Two golf pros were shot and killed at an Atlanta-area club. The suspect remains at large, authorities stated.According to Shenise Barner, Cobb County Police Officer Shenise Barner, officers found a man unresponsive with a gunshot wound to his head near the Pinetree Country Club's 10th hole. He was identified by the department as Eugene Siller, a country club employee."Tragedy has struck the Georgia Section PGA with the death of our Member Gene Siller. In a tweet, the Georgia Section of the PGA of America expressed its condolences to Gene Siller's family and Pinetree Country Club members.Police discovered two more bodies in the bed of a pickup truck on the green, which was white. Both men had gunshot wounds. Barner stated that one of them was Paul Pierson, who is the truck's registered owner, and that the other man is still unknown.John Lavender, a neighbor, told WAGA-TV he heard "five to six booms go off", but wasn't certain if it was gunshots.He said, "You don't believe it's gunshots here."The country club is located near Kennesaw State University. After the shooting, the school tweeted that there were no credible threats against campus. It is located about 25 miles northwest from downtown Atlanta.
