D'sseldorf Airport issues tender for duty free contract - The Moodie Davitt Report

GERMANY. Dsseldorf Airport issued a tender to find a partner for its five duty-free units. Dufry Company World Duty Free currently holds the contract. It will run for ten year beginning January 2023.They cover 3,300 sq m. There are four shops airside after security and one staff shop in the public area.According to the airport company, it is seeking a contractor with international and national experience in travel retail. The goal is to provide a shopping experience on-site and expand the online business. To support customers throughout their journey, the focus is on developing omnichannel strategies.
