CISCE reduces Class 10, 12 syllabus for board exams 2022

For the next academic session, the syllabus has been revised to include Indian and English languages.Students can access the updated syllabus for the 2022 exams at CISCE.org. The CISCE is first board to reduce the syllabus for the upcoming board exam.This decision was made in consideration of the disruption to educational activities caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.Gerry Arathoon (Chair Executive and Secretary) stated that CISCE had initiated the process to review the syllabus for various subjects at ICSE- and ISC-levels without compromising the quality of the content.He stated that..CISCE initiated the process to review the syllabus for various subjects at the ICSE/ISC levels, specifically for Classes 10, and 12, for Examination Year 2022. This was done in order to identify areas of the syllabus that could be reduced without compromising the quality of the content.It asked schools to ensure that teachers of the relevant subject areas cover the curriculum according to the order of the topics. It stated that this would ensure that schools affiliated to CISCE are teaching the same topics at all times and allow for subsequent reductions in syllabus if necessary.The syllabus review process was initiated by the board for various subjects at the ICSE/ISC levels, specifically for classes 10-12 for 2022. This was to identify areas of the syllabus that could be reduced without compromising the quality of content. These results are expected to be published by July 31.
