He had previously committed to Oklahoma, but announced that he would be reopening his recruiting in June.Hudson is 6'1" tall and 180 pounds. He lives about 30 minutes from Dallas.SMU is now able to boast a remarkable recruiting feat over other schools for the second consecutive year. Preston Stone, the top quarterback in the 2021 class, accepted an SMU scholarship over offers from Auburn, Alabama and other Power Five schools.Sonny Dykes, the SMU coach, likely views Stone and Hudson as the type a one-two punch that can help his program rise to national prominence.
