Credit to Disney Black WidowI've seen Black Widow before and came away with mixed feelings. My review noted that the movie is too long and inconsequential, despite some very entertaining action scenes and great fights. It would have been better if the movie had been shorter, at 2 hours 14 minutes.I've also talked about how the movie is being presented as a feminist film that empowers girls. One critic said it puts men in their shoes, which I find a bit absurd. While it is a movie that features some very badass female characters, they are not badass for making men uncomfortable. They are badass for being stone-cold killers who can fight off super-villains with no super-powers.One of the villains they meet is Taskmastera super-mercenary mercenary soldier from Marvel comics. His power is to imitate the abilities and powers of others. He can imitate fighting styles and he carries a shield that looks a lot like Captain America's, though it is not made of the exact same mixture of Vibranium or Adamantium. This makes him a formidable foe in the comics as well as the movie. Before Black Widow and Disney+ Premieres on July 9th, I'm predicting that Taskmaster will be one of the film's most controversial characters. I won't give any spoilers, but I am willing to wager that there will be a lot of information and videos on YouTube and other social media about Taskmaster and the reasons he is so controversial. Are you going to love or hate Disney's Taskmaster? Soon you will find out.Fortnite's Taskmaster is my favorite!Epic Games - Taskmaster CreditBased on years of interaction with fans and think-piece authors online, I believe that this Taskmaster version will be hated by some, and others will be disappointed. Others will love it and sing its praises. And, of course, there will always be political hay. The majority of Black Widow viewers will not have heard of Taskmaster and will not be interested in the controversy surrounding him. These are just my guesses. It is possible that I am wrong.
