Walt offered a way out, a trip-wire attached to a shotgun pointed towards [the drug dealer], which would finally bring him relief from his pain. Walt Jr. would discover the torture chamber and, while trying to help the drug dealer, the gun would be triggered, killing both of them. The sequence was canceled because studio executives believed it was too ridiculous.
