I was a producer on this film and am thrilled to continue working with her if we are so fortunate.Black Widow gives fans a glimpse of Natasha's past and explains her history as an assassin and spy. Feigh says that Scarlett wanted to create a new cast for the film to tell people about Natasha's past and her origins. This meant that there was a new family we hadn't seen before.It's time to prepare for Yelena Belova, Natasha's sister-figure, and fellow Red Room assassin. Feige shared that Yelena has been a character Feige wanted to introduce into the universe for many, long years. Florence Pugh is a stunning actress. She was quickly nominated for an Academy Award (2019's Little Women) shortly after she was hired.Feige is known for casting Oscar winners and nominees, so Pugh was the perfect choice to join the MCU family. The producer said that Pugh's performance was amazing and she couldn't wait to see it.
