Nurse stops dad trying to kidnap baby from hospital in duffel bag, Missouri cops say

Police say that a nurse alerted police and stopped a father from trying to kidnap his baby from a Missouri hospital.Police released a Friday news release stating that the father attempted to leave Cox Medical Center Branson's labor and delivery floor on Monday along with his newborn child, who was a state ward, carrying a duffel bag.Police said that the nurse noticed something was amiss and challenged the man. He then tried to flee. Officials said that he was unable to escape due to the hospital's security measures.
