Another enforced break was necessary before the third set.Shapovalov was determined to keep his cool under the spotlights. Murray was still a tough opponent in Murray's service games, and Shapovalov dominated his for another 5-1 lead in set 3.Murray, the champion in 2013 and 2016, left to another standing ovation, sealing a mature performance.Murray will remember the triumph of his return to Wimbledon singles after a four year absence, once the pain of the defeat has passed.The three-time Grand Slam champion was preparing to have metal in his hip via a resurfacing procedure.Murray's ability to win matches at Wimbledon and to create special atmospheres on Centre Court is a testimony to his greatness.Shapovalov said, "I told him at net that he was my hero," and will face eighth seed Roberto Bautista Agut from Spain in the last 16."Achievements aside," it was a great feeling to see Andy play the tennis he loves and come back from an injury. He calmly accepted it with another smash.As Korda held his hands up in the air, he glanced towards his father who was looking on as Evans, who seemed depressed, quickly left court.Korda is now looking forward to his first Wimbledon last-16 match against Karen Khachanov, the Russian 25th seed.
