After the team's 1-12 start, Carlesimo was named the Oklahoma City Thunder's head coach.Brooks was hired full-time after OKC had finished their campaign at 22-47. He delivered a 50-32 year the next year. The Thunder reached the NBA Finals in 2012, making the playoffs five consecutive seasons.Brooks was fired by OKC after a 2014-15 season in which the Wizards did not make it to the postseason. Brooks was named the Wizards' head coach in 2016-17. Brooks finished his time in D.C. as head coach of the Wizards with a record of 183-207.Brooks doesn't seem to want to take another year off between jobs but it is possible to coach LeBron and Anthony Davis.Adrian Wojnarowski, an ESPN reporter, reported Wednesday that L.A. had reached a deal to hire David Fizdale, the former head coach of New York Knicks.Brooks and Vogel have not yet worked together on the same NBA staff. Friday's report however suggests that this could change.
