These Woke Firms Are Sponsoring China's Genocide Games

Gwen Berry, third-place hammer thrower, said that she never claimed to hate the country. She spoke out after turning her back on the United States flag during the Olympic trials. All I meant was that I respected my people enough not to stand or acknowledge anything that discredits them.Berry's statement is similar to that of Colin Kaepernick (san Francisco 49ers quarterback), who said that he wouldn't stand for the flag during the national anthem because, "I am not going up to show pride for a flag that oppresses blacks and people of color."Nike paid millions to Kaepernick for refusing to take pride in the American flag. Berrys Nike payday should also be soon.Nike may love to promote its brand with disrespect for America's flag and anthem but it knows how to salute China when it comes to the subject.Nike is a brand that is from China and for China, John Donahoe, Nike CEO, recently stated during a conference call with Wall Street analysts to discuss Nike's latest earnings report. Donahoe did not say if Nike is a US brand or for the United States.Nike isn't the only company that loves to be woke at home, while supporting the most brutal human rights violations of the most oppressive regimes in the world. Many American corporations attacked the Peach State after President Joe Biden stated that he would support any efforts to punish Georgia for its voting integrity law.Five of the American corporations that were offended by Georgia's attempts to make voting easier and harder for American citizens, are sponsors of China's 2022 Olympic Games. These five corporate hypocrites include General Electric, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Procter & Gamble. The Olympics are the most highly regarded and respected sporting event in the world. It should be an honor for a country that is selected to host them. China will be able to host these games without actively violating the human rights in Xinjiang by Uighurs and Hong Kong dissidents, which would be a significant propaganda win.The ideal situation would be for the President of the United States to have a clear position about how the country should deal the China 2022 Olympics. Biden, however, has not spoken out and offered no leadership on the matter.Biden should not be content to wish the problem would disappear. He should lead an international coalition to press the International Olympic Committee to postpone 2022 Olympics in order to select a new host.If the committee refuses the selection of a host, the Biden administration should at least organize a diplomatic boycott by the games. This would include refusing to send any government officials beyond those required for the safety of the athletes.Companies that sponsor China's Olympic Games must reconsider their decision to normalize China's genocide, coverup of the COVID-19 viruses and to accept Biden as their leader. Here's a list of companies that sponsor China's 2022 Olympic Games.AirbnbAlibabaAllianzAtosBridgestoneCoca-ColaDow ChemicalGeneral ElectricIntelOmegaPanasonicProcter & GambleSamsungToyotaThe Daily Signal offers a wide range of perspectives.
