Kelly Clarkson is getting ahead of herself for Fourth of July weekend... she filed for her independence from her ex-husband.Clarkson's lawyer disso-queen Laura Wasser filed legal documents Friday asking for Clarkson to get a divorce. Other issues, such as money, will be left for another day.We reported that Clarkson's husband Brandon Blackstock has challenged the validity of their prenup. The prenup is at stake and a judge has yet not to rule. The judge gave Kelly primary physical custody on a temporary basis. This is because Brandon moved permanently to Montana, far from the couple's family home in L.A. Kelly was granted primary physical custody temporarily by the judge... as Brandon has moved to Montana permanently, away from their family home in L.A. This order is expected to become permanent. It seems that there will not be much fight over spousal assistance. Brandon was already granted temporary spousal support by the judge and this order will likely become permanent. However, spousal support would cease in 2023, half the time of the marriage. The couple got married in 2014, and they have two children. It is now obvious that the divorce is becoming a sham. Kelly wants it done quickly.
