This new series picks up from the original animated show, He-Man, and the Masters of the Universe. It features all your favorite characters, many of which you can see in the trailer. They are fighting for magic back to Eternia.AdvertisementOh, and there are also new voices to the already amazing voice cast: Dennis Haysbert will be voicing King Grayskull, Adam Gifford will play Vikor, Jay Tavare will play Wundar, and Jay Tavare will be voicing Jay Tavare.Smith spoke to io9 about the show recently. He said that the show's goal is to entertain fans of the original series while updating it for today. Smith admitted that he wouldn't have accepted the job if it was like, You get the chance to reinvent He-Man or the Masters of the Universe. I'm not very creative. I wouldn't be the man you would tap to invent something. If you love the franchise, but want to keep it lovingly going, how about keeping the characters more mature and allowing them to have more adult conversations? I'm your guy. He clarified, "And I certainly don't mean theyre all talking sex." No. The show doesn't feature any sex. This is a family-oriented program. Our idea was to make the characters accessible to both adults and children. Its audience, those who grew up with it and their children, who, presumably, will also be watching this show.The premiere of the first five episodes will be July 23. More episodes will follow.
