Correction: Avelo's Operational Performance Was Not Bad

What's this? What's this Friday evening special post? It's because the chart I posted earlier today displaying Avelos on-time performance wasn't right. Avelo's operation is far better than it appears. When Flightradar24 originally provided me with the data, there was a problem. Although it was mostly in local, it wasn't entirely accurate. This caused data to show significant delays that it shouldn't have. This was all guesswork, since I had only wheels-up and wheels-down times, not gate-to–gate as I stated in my earlier post.Avelo was able to quickly refute the information after I saw it. Just a few moments ago, I received their operational information. Now you can see it yourself.Avelo Arrives Within 14 Minutes of the Schedule, June 2021Avelo Airlines provides dataPerformance has not been terrible, except for June 20, which seemed like an awful day. Avelo has provided some additional operational facts. For June, 58 per cent of flights arrived on-time or earlier, while 81 per cent arrived within 14 minutes and 95 percent within one hour. There were 14 flights each day, totalling 420. The whole month saw only one cancellation. As you might expect, it was June 20.Between midnight and 5 a.m., only one flight was available. It was the terrible June 20th date of the canceled flight. They ferried the plane back at 1:18am on 21st.It is hard to avoid posting things that are not correct. I can only correct the record. Avelo, I apologise. All American readers, happy 4th of July! My next regular post will be up on Tuesday.
