The first time Michael W Travels flew in many years was last weekend. We flew with United Airlines from Los Angeles to El Salvador. We are currently on a road trip around the county. It is great fun to see many different sites and visit a lot of different places. We had to fly from Newark Airport into Houston, then to San Salvador to get to El Salvador. We didn't expect any meal service on each flight as they were short. However, we were curious if snacks might be available. Flight attendants informed us that there would be a snack and beverage service, and that some items could also be purchased.A beverage cart was available with a range of beverages to choose from. Also, a snack bag called the All-in-One Snackbag was distributed. Each bag contained a small amount of Dasani water, a pack of pretzels, and a favorite family treat, Biscoff cookies. The snack bags were solid and we had no complaints. The delivery time was also faster when the snacks were in bags. This may be the best way to provide inflight service on shorter flights, regardless of any pandemic.
