Photo by Steven Ferdman ( Getty Images)Isaac Brock has been talking, talking, and talking with the media to mark the release The Golden Casket. This is Modest Mouse's first album in six years. Although the Uproxx interview in which he discussed all of the band's albums, his thoughts on gangstalking, and UFOs is difficult to top, Vulture has put its best foot forward with a piece that sees Brock look back on his career and share stories such as the time he was stoned while eating hot dogs.AdvertisementBrock answers a question about the strangest place he'd heard the breakthrough song Float On played. He says that he remembers smoking a lot of marijuana. I was sitting there, watching the game and cheering for either team when they scored. Someone said to Brock, "Hey, you're sitting in the family and friends seats for Trail Blazers," Brock called it Costanza moment.I just got a hot dog or some other food, but I couldn't figure out how I was going to eat it. What can I do but Float on comes on and a picture of Brock appears on the Jumbotron. Brock just shrugged off my view.He recalls that I didn't have any interest in being on a Jumbotron while they were playing this song. It was probably a way to sell season tickets to a man.Other good stuff can be found in the rest of the interview, including Brock trying to determine his favorite Modest Mouse song.
