Dodgers Star Trevor Bauer Placed on Paid Administrative Leave After Assault Allegation

Major League Baseball has placed Trevor Bauer on administrative leave due to an assault allegation.The Dodgers' star went with the team to Washington on Wednesday. He was supposed to begin Sunday against the Nationals... but Rob Manfred, the MLB commissioner, has placed Bauer on paid leave for seven days.If the MLB players' union agrees, the League can extend the leave. A woman claims that the NL Cy Young champion had sexually assaulted and abused her. The League is investigating. Bauer denied any wrongdoing.According to TMZ Sports, the woman who accused Bauer of choking her was also reported as having had anal sex non-consensually with Bauer.In an 84-page temporary order application, the victim's attorney filed disturbing allegations against the woman. The woman claimed that Bauer had met her twice, initially as consensual sex... but turned into a violent attack.According to the 21-year old accuser, she first met Bauer via Instagram and then they met face-to-face on April 21. She claims they were having an intimate relationship when he began to aggressively push her throat. She claims that she asked him to stop and that he did.The docs said that Bauer then wrapped her hair around me and choked my neck. According to the alleged victim, she was unable to remember.She claimed that Bauer was having anal sex with her when she woke up. She denied consenting to it, according to the accuser.
