NFL fines San Francisco 49ers, Jacksonville Jaguars and Dallas Cowboys for OTA violations

Adam Schefter reports on the latest $100,000 NFL fines for OTA violations. (1:19).For violating organized team activities, the NFL has sanctioned the Jacksonville Jaguars and San Francisco 49ers as well as the Dallas Cowboys.Below is a list of fines that sources have told ESPN's Adam Schefter.Urban Meyer was fined $100,000 and the Jaguars were fined $200,000The 49ers were fined $100,000, and Kyle Shanahan was fined $50,000The Cowboys were fined $100,000, and Mike McCarthy was fined $50,000Schefter was also told by sources that other penalties include an order from the NFL management council for the 49ers not to cancel the last week of OTAs.Sources told Schefter that the Cowboys were required to forfeit one OTA practice in the 2022 offseason. The Jaguars were also ordered to forfeit two OTA practices in the same week.In a statement, the Jaguars stated that they are "vigilant about following the CBA rules and will reaffirm offseason training rules in relation to contact." We look forward to training camp starting later in the month.The 49ers stated that "the safety and health of our players is our top priority" and that they take compliance with league rules very seriously.
