MILWAUKEE -- Trae Young, the star guard for the Atlanta Hawks, was unable to play in Game 5 of Eastern Conference finals due to a bone bruise on his right foot.Young was a game-time choice Thursday night. Hawks coach Nate McMillan stated that Young was not comfortable enough to play after he had tested his foot prior to Game 4 in Atlanta.Young sustained the injury when he stepped on Sean Wright's foot late in Game 3. Young, a third-year point guard, is averaging 29.8 and 9.5 points per game in his first postseason appearance. He also averaged 32.7 points in this series.Young will continue his rehabilitation with the hope of playing in Game 6 in Atlanta on Saturday.The Hawks couldn't replicate their strong performance in Game 4 without Young on Thursday, despite Bogdan Bogdanovic's 28 points. Brook Lopez (33 point), Khris Middleton (26) and Jrue Holiday (17) had big offensive nights. The Bucks scored just 88 points Tuesday.After being diagnosed with right eye inflammation, Clint Capela, Hawks center, was released.Capela is still dealing with the effects of inadvertently being elbowed by Bucks reserve guard Sam Merrill during Atlanta's Game 4 win. The incident occurred while Merrill and Capela were trying to rebound. Capela left the court holding a towel to his right eye. After Tuesday's game, Capela was seen by the team's eye doctor. He was also examined on Wednesday.Capela struggled for 21 minutes of Game 5 and finished with only 6 points, 8 rebounds, and no assists.
