Model: Himalayan "10th Anniversary"

Key Features: For the tenth anniversary of his opinion-splitting Himalayan sneaker, German designer Bernhard Willhelm has created an even more divisive version of the same shoe. This time, instead of tubular rope laces and multi-material uppers, Willhelm takes inspiration from football socks, creating shin- and knee-high variants with uppers made completely out of elastic yarn. Geometric prints add another dimension to the sock-like uppers, while a sporty sole (also seen on the original Himalayan) sits underfoot.

Release Date: October 16

Price: TBC

Buy: CamperLab (Paris, London, NYC), online at Camper.com, and at select retailers worldwide

Editor's Notes: German designer Bernhard Willhelm and Camper have teamed up to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the former's Himalayan shoe. While the original design stayed true to traditional sneaker design, Willhelm this time goes all-in on knitted sock sneakers, resulting in exaggerated, futuristic football sock-like designs. Crafted from furry Jacquard fabric inspired by Japanese textiles, the collection comprises three options for men and four for women (two sneaker boots and a high black boot make up the unisex offering, while a special all-white high boot is available just for women).

In addition, the Himalayan sneakers will drop alongside a range of apparel, the first time clothing is offered through CamperLab. The entire collection will be available starting October 16 at CamperLab's three locations in Paris, London, and NYC, as well as online and at select retailers worldwide.
