He is a regular guy who transforms into a time-travelling soldier to aid Earth in its ongoing war against aliens in 2051. This clip io9 debuts today thanks to a military scientist, played by Yvonne Strahovski of The Handmaids Tales. It gives us some insight into the origins of the alien invasion. It's a short but chilling monologue.They were there one day. However, Pratts daughter is mentioned 30 years ago. It seems that these two could be relatives. They may have been brought together by aliens and time-travel in 2051, although not necessarily in that order. Amazon's description mentions that Pratts father is J.K. Simmons.The Tomorrow War is a time travel group that arrives in 2051 from the future to send a message. It is a warning message to the world: Threety years into the future, mankind is losing a global battle against an alien species. Only way to survive is for civilians and soldiers from the past to be transported into the future to join the fight. High school teacher and family man Dan Forester, Chris Pratt is one of those who has been recruited.
