Eight ships have been approved by the CDC to conduct restricted cruises. This is an increase from two ships that were approved in June. The agency has since approved Carnival Horizon, Carnival Horizon and Majestic Princess to operate revenue cruises. Already approved were Equinox and Celebrity Edge. All ships, except Freedom of the Seas have been approved without any test sailings. They will all continue to receive 95% vaccinations.Because they follow CDC return to service guidelines, the CDC refers to approved revenue cruises as "restricted journeys".The CDC also approved 11 vessels to simulate test sailings. This includes Bahamas Paradise Line’s Grand Classica, Royal Caribbean’s Odyssey of the Seas (which still has provisional approval), Oasis of the Seas and the Disney Fantasy. The Disney Dream, which was approved for a test sail, has canceled the sailing. It will be rescheduled for July, subject to approval.
