They were swooning about Jill Biden, and promoting a ridiculously positive cover story in Vogue magazine's August issue.Vogue is not a place to find hard facts about politics. Anna Wintour (longtime Democrat) is the editor of Vogue magazine. She is a willing participant to glossy propaganda.Janai Norman, an ABC reporter, happily repeated the words of Jill Biden to Vogue: I want White House to feel cozy. It's like a beach house, where you can come in with your bathing suit and sit on the chair. It's a beach house.Chioma Nnadi (editor of Vogue.com) gushed to ABC about how the first lady has taken on her role with both hands and that she's kept her job as a teacher. As someone who can multitask while keeping a smile on her faces, she is incredibly inspiring.The cover story includes a collection of beautiful, posed photosof Jill Biden, Jill and Joe, as well as Jill with her precious grandchildren. All photographs were taken by Annie Leibovitz. Some photos have designer captions, such as Dr. Biden is wearing a Michael Kors Collection sweater, and skirt.All troubling family topics, such as Hunter Biden's infernal laptopare airbrushed out.Jonathan Van Meter, a Washington Post reporter turned to Mary Jordan to help him. It was hard to imagine Joe doing it without her.Vogue was entertained by Jordan, who told Vogue about all the parties she'd attended with the Bidens and how everyone could take photos because they were so fun-loving and normal. Joe was squirted with a squirt guns by Jill! They are the best!Servile publicity sounds something like this: President Joe Biden hugging a child waving a flag, while Jill looks every inch a goddess at age 69, as Jill stands on the macadam behind her in black-and white stilettos.Van Meter pointed out that this was a very un-Trumpy statement. It is moments like these with the Bidenshugging kids!, which show just how bizarre and out of place our former president and first lady were.Jill, a Sugar Puff Land goddess, is both an idol to be worshiped and perfectly calibrated to lead a almost pomp-free presidency.We were treated to happy talk about the countless editorials that began marking the 100th day of the Biden administration. Many expressed surprise at how much was being done, how much legitimately useful policy was moving through, and how few dramas, fumbles, or ugly fights.The theme song for The Lego Movie is "Everything Is Awesome!"Melania Trump, former first lady, was not featured on a Vogue cover. Instead, Vogue was celebrating Stormy Daniels, porn star and posed Annie Leibovitz portraits as a catalyst for historic proportions that would ruin the Trumps three years ago.These sticky valentines highlight that journalists should not brag about their ability to ask difficult questions and hold people responsible. They seem to do it about half of the time. This is the spin they used when the Democrats that they supported didn't win.Democrats make everyone a Democrat.
