My own, sheltered Sydneysider POV would say that there are two kinds of animals. They are both called kangaroos even though their names are different.There are your cute little wallabies, which are usually smaller and less adorable. However, you also have your hench and slightly scary proper kangaroos. These are the ones that you will find outback. They can grow to almost two meters tall and weigh nearly 100kgs.Personally, I don't think I have ever seen a kanga in its proper form, only the adorable knock-off wallabies. However, you will find kangaroos in most areas if they are not in the city.
