The much-anticipated Hard Rock Hotel Madrid officially opened its doors on the 1st of July 2021. The hotel, which is located in Madrid's Golden Triangle of Art, is the latest addition to the international portfolio of Hard Rock Hotels. It complements the brand’s recent growth across Europe.
With 161 modern rooms and suites starting at 18 square feet, the new hotel is ideal for both business and leisure travelers. The hotel offers a variety of views so guests can enjoy the sights and sounds of Madrid or escape to a room with sweeping views over the lush garden. The property's heart is home to a striking architectural hanging guitar sculpture that hangs above the amber-hued couches in the lobby. The hotel features vibrant artwork, including a pink "Las Meninas" adorned with Rosala lyrics and a mural in GMT+1 bar that was inspired by Diego Velzquez’s masterpiece.
The colorful artwork is complemented with a carefully curated collection of memorabilia that highlights Madrid culture and style as well as international musicians. Hard Rock Hotel Madrid now houses over 70 pieces memorabilia. Notable pieces include an acoustic guitar made by Antonio Vega, a Madrid-native singer and songwriter; blue jeans worn by Elvis Presley in an NBC TV special 1968; and David Bowie's platform boots.
Locals and tourists alike will love the hotel's unique bars and restaurants. Sessions is the brand's flagship restaurant and features interiors by Rockwell Group. RT60 is a rooftop bar that offers craft cocktails, jamn carving stations with cheese, and breathtaking 360-degree views over the city to the beats of live DJ sets. Sessions is an open-airy restaurant that overlooks the hotel's gardens. It serves unique Spanish cuisine and undiscovered culinary delights.
