She also seems to be very selective about who she allows access to the VP among her inner circle.Flournoy has worked in Washington politics for many years, including in the Democratic National Committee as well as in the former administration of President Bill Clinton.According to reports, Flournoy regularly directs policy questions related to immigration to Harris' senior advisors. Donors and some longtime political allies of Harris who spoke anonymously felt left out.According to Politico, Sanders said Flournoy had an "open door policy" and defended Flournoy.Sanders stated that "Black women like mine would not be able to work in politics without Tina" and called anonymous critics of Flournoy "cowards"."We don't make rainbows and bunnies every day.
