Parents stored child's body in freezer for at least two years, Virginia police say

According to local media reports, police officers found the body of a Virginia boy in the freezer of his parents and arrested his parents.Kassceen D. Weaver (49), and Dina D. Weber (48), are being charged with conspiracy to hide a body, failing to render aid, WWBT reported citing the Chesterfield County Police Department.Chesterfield is located just outside Richmond, Virginia. It is approximately 60 miles from North Carolina's border.According to WWBT, the charges stemmed from a tip police received about the child's body in the home in May. The child was identified by police as Eliel Adon Weber.WTVR reported that Eliel was less than 5 years old at the time of his death. The cause of death is not known.WRIC was told by Liz Carron, spokesperson for Chesterfield County Police Department that his body had been stored in the freezer for over two years.She stated that the police suspect that the parents failed aid the child and conceal his body somewhere between January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2018, WRIC reported.According to the TV station, another child lived in the house as well and was placed in foster care.WTVR reported that police confirmed that the Weavers were Eliels custodial grandparents. While DNA testing has confirmed Dina Weaver as his biological mother, police have not confirmed if Kassceen Was the biological father.Kassceen Weaver was also charged with domestic assault and maliciously wounding an adult female.
