Report: Cowboys' Dak Prescott Gives Beats Headphones to Miss. State Baseball Team

AP Photo/LM OteroAccording to reports, Dak Prescott, a Dallas Cowboys quarterback, gave gifts to the Mississippi State baseball team during their run for the College World Series.Pete Thamel from Yahoo Sports reports that Prescott was at Game 2 of the College World Series, Omaha, Nebraska on Tuesday night. He also gave each Bulldogs player a pair Beats headphones.Mississippi State defeated Vanderbilt by 13-2 in Game 2, to force a decisive game 3, which will take place Wednesday in Omaha.From 2012 to 2015, the Bulldogs had the Mississippi State product.Prescott's senior season was 2015 and he completed 66.2 percent. He rushed for 588 yards and ten scores.The Cowboys selected Prescott as a fourth-round selection in the 2016 NFL Draft. He has been the Cowboys' starter since then, winning the 2016 NFL Offensive Rookie Of the Year award and two Pro Bowl nominations.Mississippi State's baseball team hopes to be the first team to win a national title in a team sport.Prescott isn't the only one to give Beats as gifts since signing an endorsement agreement with Beats in 2017.In 2017, he gave Beats to his Cowboys teammates and then gifted them to the Dallas Renegades of the XFL last year.Prescott, who was seriously injured in his ankle last season and missed five of the final games, signed a contract extension this offseason with the Cowboys. He will be looking to get back to his best in 2021.
