Jamie Spears Says He Wasn't the One Making Britney's Life Miserable

Jamie Spears hit back at his daughter's claims that he had taken her freedom, and even her right of marriage... He says all the responsibility lies with his successor.Jamie filed legal documents claiming that he had not been involved in Britney's personal conservatorship, which means making personal decisions for Britney. He also said that he hasn’t spoken to his daughter for a while because he was "cut off from communicating with him."Jamie blames Jodi Montgomery, the current personal conservator for the restraints. Britney's lawyer filed documents to appoint Montgomery. He claimed Britney was not mentally capable to make medical decisions. Therefore, it was left to Jodi Montgomery, the conservator of her body. Jamie states bluntly that the court did not find Britney unable to consent and never issued such an order.Jamie claimed that Britney's lawyer Sam Ingham was trying to remove Britney's right to make her medical decisions and place those decisions solely into the hands of Montgomery.According to legal documents, "Ms. Montgomery was fully responsible for Ms. Spears’ day-to-day personal and medical care, and Ms. Montgomery made all related decisions."Jamie also stated that Britney was not allowed to marry or have a child if he had been prohibited. Jamie claims that he consented Britney's marriage to Jason Trawick when she was engaged in 2011. But, as you all know, the couple split in 2013.Jamie's lawyer states in another document that Jamie believes it is vital for the integrity and best interests of Ms. Spears that the Court order an investigation into the claims and issues raised by Britney at the status hearing on June 23, 2021.Jamie's lawyer continues: "Either the allegations are proven to be true, in that case corrective actions must be taken or they will turn out to be false, in either case, the conservatorship can go ahead."
