Screenshot of Flight Of The Conchords : HBOBret McKenzie & Jemaine Clement have been rocking the party for 14 years with their HBO series Flight Of The Conchords. Fans have been waiting for a TV reunion since the New Zealanders went on tour and played songs from the show. Rosy Cordero, Entertainment Weekly's Rosy Cordero, asked Clement if McKenzie had discussed the possibility of a one-off special. There are good and bad news. The good news? McKenzie will not answer Clements motherflippin emails.AdvertisementBret has not responded to my emails. I have emailed him twice in the past week. I don't know. It will take a few days, but I am sure that I will get an answer. I sent the first one a few days back, and maybe they will reply within a week. Clement says that I might get a response in a few days to the second one, saying "I just saw this!" It's amazing that we managed to put together those two seasons. Clement says that McKenzie is not on Twitter so fans cannot start a Twitter campaign for him to give us a Flight Of The Conchords reunion. Cordero tried, however.Clement is probably just laughing to get us off our feet. We wouldn't be surprised if the Flight Of The Conchords crew was already making plans for next year, considering all the TV specials and reunion table readings. Clement and McKenzie produced a one-hour special in 2018 for HBO, Flight Of The Conchords Live In London. However, it was more in keeping with what fans saw than providing an update on the fates the fictional struggling Kiwi musicians. We really want an update on the characters' lives, so please, guys, do that.In 2011, there were talks about a Flight Of The Conchords movie. In an interview with Vulture McKenzie stated that he and Clement had been discussing the possibility of making a Flight Of The Conchords movie.
