Amazon seeks recusal of FTC chair Lina Khan in antitrust investigation

WASHINGTON Amazon.com Inc. AMZN +0.20% has filed a request to the Federal Trade Commission for Lina Khan, the new Chairwoman, to be exonerated from antitrust investigations. This is in light of her numerous past criticisms of Amazon.com Inc. AMZN.Due to her extensive history of proclamations about Amazon and her repeated proclamations claiming that Amazon violated antitrust laws, an observer reasonable would conclude that she is unable to consider antitrust defenses of the company with open minds. Amazon filed a 25-page motion Wednesday with the FTC.
