Trump Organization expects to be charged Thursday in Manhattan criminal case

This is according to Wednesday's report.It is unclear if any other individuals, including Allen Weisselberg (Trump Organization Chief Financial Officer), will be charged on Thursday. Trump is unlikely to face charges on Thursday.NBC reported that Trump Organization representatives claimed they had been told imminent charges. One source said that the charges were expected to be filed around 2 p.m. on Thursday.Manhattan's district attorney's office has been investigating Trump Organization for many years in relation to multiple issues.The DA's office recently focused its probe on fringe benefits that Weisselberg and his son, who work for the company, received. It also wanted to know if taxes were paid properly for these benefits, which include apartments.The Wall Street Journal reported the first time that Weisselberg and the company would be charged on Thursday.Weisselberg's lawyer didn't immediately respond to our request for comment. Jennifer Weisselberg (Weisselberg's ex-daughter-in-law) has been cooperating in the DA's investigation.The case is not over if charges are filed on Thursday or later. Vance's office continues to investigate claims that Trump Organization misrepresented the value of real estate properties in order to obtain financial benefits.Trump denies any wrongdoing in his company.
