The second wave of 'Star Wars: The High Republic' novels is here. Here's what to know.

The second wave in Star Wars: The High Republic books was launched by Disney Lucasfilm on June 29, 2021.Disney Lucasfilm Press released the first wave "Star Wars: The High Republic" comics and books earlier this year. This introduced a new roster of heroes, villains and characters bounding and fighting across the galaxy.These intertwined Star Wars stories were published on multiple platforms. They were written during the Golden Age, when light-sabre warriors were the legendary protectors and heroes of the Republic.Disney has now announced the next stage of its publishing venture that will focus on the ongoing saga, 200 years before "The Phantom Menace."
