The Weeknd to star in HBO cult series from Sam Levinson

It was an episode about how he can use magic powers to be a virgin and never uses drugs. Deadline reports that he will co-write, produce and star in The Idol, a new HBO project. It was co-created with The Weeknd, Euphoria creator Sam Levinson and Weeknds producing partner Reza Farahim.The story is about a female singer who begins dating an enigmatic L.A. club leader who happens to also be the leader of a secret sect. He could even play himself again since it would be easy to explain that a female singer is friends with The Weeknd. His American Dad! His American Dad! appearance was about how his songs were all fake and that he is afraid of talking with women or using cocaine. Then, maybe his The Idol role about how The Weeknd is really a jerk who allows his friends and colleagues to get involved in secret Los Angeles nightclub culture cults. It would be fascinating if he kept playing the same character in his music videos as he did on all of the After Hours singles. But then, he becomes himself on TV.
