Black stories and experiences can be as varied and complex as the people. Too often, we see a single image of Black people. We wanted to fix this problem. The #YouTubeBlack Voices Fund will help us promote authentic perspectives and celebrate Black joy.We launched the #YouTubeBlackvoices Fund last year with the intent of investing in work that elevates the voices, perspectives and stories of Black people all over the globe. We wanted to provide Black creators and artists the support and resources they needed to succeed on YouTube. We are proud of the achievements made by YouTube Originals, our Class of 2021 grant program and YouTube Originals.
