Kawhi Leonard Out for Clippers vs. Suns Game 6 Because of Knee Injury

Michael Ainsworth/Associated PressKawhi Leonard, Los Angeles Clippers' superstar, will miss Game 6 against the Phoenix Suns due to a right knee injury.He was officially removed by the team for Wednesday night.Leonard sustained a right knee injury during Game 4 of the Clippers’ second-round playoff series with the Utah Jazz. He was unable to play in the remaining six games of the Clippers' second-round playoff series against the Utah Jazz.Before the injury, the two-time NBA Finals MVP was a great player in this year's postseason. In 11 games, he had averaged 30.4 points and 7.7 rebounds as well as 4.4 assists and 2.1 steals. Los Angeles has not been able to fill the huge void that he left behind at both ends of the court.Tyronn Lue, L.A.'s head coach, has managed to juggle his roster in an effort to find something that works without San Diego State products. Luke Kennard and Terance Mann lead the group of players who will likely see an increase in playing time over the interim. Reggie Jackson also has provided a huge scoring punch to make up the production loss.The Clippers and Leonard looked like they were a legitimate contender for the championship before Leonard's injury. However, the team is now on the brink to be eliminated heading into Game 6.
