McDavid and Wayne Gretzky are the other Hart Memorial Trophy recipients in Edmonton Oilers' history. These are the Tuesday results.NHL Awards: ResultsHart Memorial Trophy: Connor McDavid (Edmonton Oilers)Vezina Trophy Marc-Andre Fleury (Vegas Golden Knights)Calder Memorial Trophy: Kirill Caprizov, Minnesota WildJames Norris Memorial Trophy, Adam Fox, New York RangersTed Lindsay Award: Connor McDavid (Edmonton Oilers)There was very little drama when it came to the most prestigious honor on the board. McDavd won all 100 first-place votes to win the Hart Trophy, placing him in an illustrious group. The 24-year old also received the Ted Lindsay Award. This award is given to the NHL Players Association's best player. It is obvious that the Oilers will need to capitalize on McDavid's presence and the 2019-20 Hart Trophy winner Leon Draisaitl in order to make a deep postseason run.Marc-Andre Fleury added yet another honor to his distinguished career, the Vezina Trophy. The Vegas Golden Knights goaltender achieved career highs in save percentage (.928), goals-against mean (1.98), which allowed him to beat the Tampa Bay Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy as well as the Colorado Avalanche’s Philipp Grubauer.Vasilevskiy was just a few votes away from winning his second Vezina.Grubauer, Nathan MacKinnon, and Cale Makar were all Colorado Avalanche players that made it to the finals. Although the Avs tied the Golden Knights in points, it wasn't enough for them to be crowned champions. After finishing with 27 goals, Kirill Kaprizov was the first Minnesota Wild player to win the Calder Memorial Trophy.Kaprizov has a bright future. It remains to be determined if that future will be in Minnesota. The 24-year-old will be an unrestricted free agent. There has been little communication between the sides. Michael Russo, the Athletic's reporter, reported that the Wild had made "lucrative contracts offers of seven- and eight-years that would make Kaprizov one of the most highly paid players in franchise history." He's interested in a shorter commitment.Kaprizov gave an acceptance speech on Tuesday, but was not actually present when the program aired.Adam Fox was the final winner as the New York Rangers' defenseman won the James Norris Memorial Trophy. In his second season, he had five goals and 42 assists.Fox is the Rangers' first player to win the Norris Trophy, since Brian Leetch 1996-97. Leetch presented the award to Fox.The NHL will now be focusing on the Stanley Cup Final. On Monday, the Tampa Bay Lightning won the first game of the Stanley Cup Final with a 5-1 win in Game 1.Wednesday will see the teams return to the ice.
