'Star Trek: Prodigy' reveals cast and characters

Cast and characters of "Star Trek: Prodigy", the animated series that will air on Paramount+ and Nickelodeon.Paramount+ has released images and details about the cast of "Star Trek: Prodigy," an animated new show that features "Star Trek: The Original Series".Paramount+ Star Trek First Contact Day in April saw a photo of the main characters and the first images of Captain Janeway. Janeway is the starship's emergency training hologram, voiced by Kate Mulgrew. We didn't learn much about the rest. We do have some background information and a few screen shots from the show.GwynElla Purnell, an actor, will portray Gwyn, a Vau N'Akat member, in Star Trek: Prodigy. Ella Purnell is British actor who plays Gwyn. She was most recently seen on Netflix's Zack Snyder's "Army of the Dead".Jankom PogJankom Pog is a teenager Tellarite voiced by Jason Mantzoukas in "Star Trek: Prodigy." He seems to love a good argument, and is willing to listen to all sides, regardless of his opinion. Mantzoukas is a regular on television, including "Brooklyn 99", "The League", and voice roles in "Invincible," and "American Dad!"DalIn "Star Trek: Prodigy," Brett Gray will play the role of the eccentric alien Dal. According to the official blurb, Dal considers himself a maverick who holds firm to his unwavering faith even in the most difficult of times. Brett Gray plays the role of Brett Gray. He was most recently seen on Netflix's "On My Block" and guest appearances on "Chicago PD".MurfDee Bradley Baker, a veteran of "Star Wars Clone Wars", will play the role of Captain Rex in animated series "Star Trek: Prodigy." Dee Bradley Baker plays the Yaphet-esque creature. He is perhaps best known for his voice as Captain Rex on the many "Star Wars" animated television programs and Klaus, the goldfish, on "American Dad!"Rok-TahkRok-Tahk is a 8-year-old Brikar voiced by Rylee Alazraqui in "Star Trek: Prodigy." Although Rok is shy at first, she doesn't hide her love for animals. Alazraqui is just 10 years old, and has voiced roles on Cartoon Network's Summer Camp Island.ZeroBritish actor Angus Imrie plays the Medusan Zero in "Star Trek: Prodigy." Image credit: Paramount+British actor Angus Imrie plays Zero, a Medusan. Zero has not been seen since the episode "Is there in Truth No Beauty?" on "Star Trek: The Original Series." (S03,E07). They are an energy-based non-corporeal life form that is genderless and causes insanity to all humanoids who look upon them. Zero is protected by a containment suit. Image credit: Paramount+Kate Mulgrew gave some details about the show in a May 12 interview on Dennis Miller's Dennis Miller + 1 podcast. The show will feature all characters from the Delta Quadrant, and it will be aired just a few decades after the USS Voyagers' return to home."Five children are held on an unknown planet in an uncharted area of the galaxy. Mulgrew stated in an interview that the five children escape their prison and race across the planet in search of a starship, which is buried beneath the planet's surface. They manage to get into the ship but it is not functional. They are surrounded by prison guards and stumble across Captain Janeway's Emergency Training Hologram.It's going to be a big hit with little children. Mulgrew stated in the podcast that if the children can sit down with their mothers who saw me live and their fathers who loved other guys, it will be a family affair."Star Trek: Prodigy," which will air on Paramount+ in the US in the latter part of 2021, will also air on Nickelodeon.
