Joe Caramagna/MarvelJohnny Blaze, the Ghost Rider, has had to deal with many demons and magical creatures on his journeys across hell dimensions. He's also developed a lot of skills. Even with all the experience, Johnny still makes terrible mistakes that can have devastating consequences. One such mistake is the one that set off Marvel's new prose novel.AdvertisementMarvel and Aconyte Books Witches Unleashed by Carrie Harris places the blame on Ghost Riders when Lucifer is freed from hell and begins to cause havoc with an old, mystical tome. Ghost Riders were used to thrashing demons on their own to get what they wanted, but Lucifers' plan to use the mythic Tome Of Zhered-Na gives the matter a unique significance to Jennifer Kale and Satana Helstrom, three powerful witches with a special connection to this book.Cover of Witches Unleashed. Image by Marvel/AconyteAlthough they are all suspicious of each other, the plan of the witches to find Lucifer's soul to stop the fallen demons is quite a complex one. Ghost Rider adds to the confusion. The Spirit of Vengeance and Lucifer are determined to make the most of their newfound freedom, so the witches must work together to survive. It seems that Witches Unleashed will remain focused on its core cast of characters like Marvel's and Aconytes' previous Marvel Untold novels. However, the novel's premise leaves the possibility open for other magical powerhouses to make an appearance throughout the story.Witches Unleashed will be available in both paperback and ebook formats when it hits shelves on November 2.Are you curious about where our RSS feed went.
