Twitter fixes bug that disabled 'latest tweets' timeline for some web users

A bug in Twitter's web client led to some people believing that the toggle to switch between a chronological and algorithmic feed had been removed. People took to Twitter to vent their frustration at the loss of the star icon that allows them to switch between the feeds throughout the day.Twitter in chronological order has been fixed. Some of you who were using the web to view your Home timeline to see the most recent Tweets first option was removed. This has been fixed and should be back in place for all. According to an old support document, Twitter was taking down all recent tweets from its website. The situation was later addressed by Kayvon Beykpour, Twitter's official support account, and noted that it was a software problem that the company had since fixed.
