Asia markets trade higher; China set to release data on June factory activity

SINGAPORE Asian markets traded in positive territory on Wednesday morning. China will release data about manufacturing activity this morning.Japan's Nikkei225 rose 0.5% in early trade and the Topix edged down 0.45%South Korea's Kospi rose 0.31%. Tech stocks rose, with SK Hynix rising 2.8% and LG Electronics rising 2.48%.The S&P/ASX 200 rose 0.63% in Australia. Major mining companies were positive, with Fortescue Metals and Rio Tinto both jumping almost 2%.According to a Reuters poll, China's official manufacturing Purchasing Manager's Index(PMI) will ease in June due to a resurgence in Covid-19 cases within the major export province Guangdong.
