Don Granato Agrees to Reported 3-Year Contract as Sabres Head Coach

On March 17, Granato was appointed interim coach, leading the Sabres' record of 9-16-3.The veteran coach joined the Sabres as a coach during the 2019-20 season. Krueger was fired by Buffalo after just two seasons.Since the 2010-11 season, the Sabres have never made it to the playoffs. Granato will be responsible for improving a team that managed just 15 wins over a 56-game season.
