Economic Daily News has just reported that Apple will soon release its third-generation AirPods and redesigned MacBooks.Multiple sources confirm that Apple plans to launch new MacBooks and AirPods in the second half of this year. Increased shipment will begin in the third quarter. Shin Zu Shing is one of the Apple suppliers that supplies bearings for MacBooks and AirPods charging case. They are currently working with Apple to supply new components. To meet increasing demand, suppliers may be hiring more workers. According to Taiwanese website Economic Daily News the supplier is having difficulty increasing production capacity to meet increased demand. This new demand requires a 15% increase in MacBook shipment, which would translate into an additional 23,000,000 units. AirPods will see an increase in annual sales of 10 to 15%.Although the report didn't mention any specific details about the new products, a lot of reports indicate that the new MacBooks are Apples new Silicon-based machines. They have slimmer bezels and bring back many of the things we missed, including an SD card reader and HDMI. Apple's third-generation AirPods will likely look very similar to the AirPods Pro, but with shorter stems. They also have a tighter ear fit. Although rumors had suggested that they might have noise cancellation, more recent reports suggest otherwise.Ming Chi-Kuo and Nikkei Asia also reported on the predicted timeframe by Economic Daily News. TrendForce also predicted that the new MacBook Pros would launch in the second quarter of 2021. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman even said that they would arrive this summer.According to reports, both devices were originally expected to be released a lot sooner, but Apple delayed production due to a shortage of components and other technical issues. Economic Daily News reports that, even though the shortage of bearings, which was rumored to be a reason for delay in product launch, has been resolved, supply will still be limited due to other components. The delay in production is not due to the bearings. Supply will improve month-by-month.Editors' Recommendations
