Authorities say that a New Hampshire man is now in recovery after his nephew, aged 8, accidentally shot him with a gun while hunting chipmunks.According to Milton Police Department, the 32-year old was shot in the head on Friday but is expected be okay.Police said that the bullet shot by the 8-year old hit the man's head after it struck one of the rodents. The man was treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.Chief Richard Krauss of Milton Police stated that it is legal for young children to hunt and called Friday's incident a "foolish accident", according to Fosters Daily Democrat.Krauss said that there are children who learn to hunt and shoot much earlier than this.
