Projecting Every Conference's Best Receiving Corps for the 2021 CFB Season

0 out of 10Ron Jenkins/Associated PressCollege football is becoming more like a glorified passing contest every year.Special teams, running, defense, blocking and running are all important components in building a title contender. However, the best passing attacks may not necessarily be the ones that will win the College Football Playoff. It is nearly impossible to compete in modern football without at least a decent receiving corps.Which teams will be the best in this department in 2021?We decided to go beyond the tried-and-true method of ranking the top 10 (insert place group) players in the country and show our appreciation to all five teams. We're going conference-by-conference to examine the different position groups for the 2021 season. We've dealt with both the offensive and defensive lines so far in the summer series. It's now time to get out of the trenches into the wideout world. We'll be highlighting the top team in each conference and identifying the team most likely to challenge for that title. The third "Keep An Eye On" group is not expected to be the third-best conference team, but it is an interesting unit. The conference listings are alphabetical.Important Note: The term "Receiving Corps", however, does not include fullbacks or pass-catching running backs. We will mention those players where relevant. However, they are not a part of the conference's selection process for the Best of the Bunch and Top Challenger. Later in the series, we'll be focusing more on running backs.
