Reattach vinyl floors using aluminum foilPhoto: Local Exposure ( Shutterstock)After a while, the glue can cause vinyl flooring to crack in corners and other areas. You can fix this quickly with a tin foil and an iron. Place the shiny side of foil on the vinyl floor. Turn the iron to high heat and iron the area where it is placed. The foil protects the vinyl floor from being damaged by melting, and will also help to melt the glue beneath. After doing this for one minute place something flat and heavy to apply some pressure. Allow it to sit for at least an hour before you begin to remove the weight.
