As much as I love other aspects of Walt Disney World, I have come to appreciate the dining options at Walt Disney World. We have enjoyed some of our most memorable dining experiences at Disney World's table service restaurants. These restaurants offer more immersive, themed dining experiences than the quick-service options. These restaurants were first opened out of necessity. My family needed a relaxing, comfortable vacation that didn't require us to return to the resort. This was originally intended to be a break for a meal, but it has become an important part of our Disney World vacations. Today I am sharing my top Disney World table service restaurants, as well as some that I look forward too. In this article, I will be focusing on the park restaurants and looking forward to sharing my resort dining experiences in a subsequent post.Via NapoliThe best Disney World pizza is at EPCOT's EPCOT restaurant. The portions are large, but the value is great. Our family of four has enjoyed one large pizza. The relaxed atmosphere and great views of brick pizza ovens are what we love about the setting. Only problem is the long distance from the EPCOT entrance into the Italy area.Sci-Fi Dine In TheaterThe Hollywood Studios restaurant is truly a unique experience. To view old clips on the big-screen, guests are seated at tables set up in a drive in movie theater setting. The throwback commercials are what I enjoy the most. Although the menu has many options, burgers are the star of this restaurant. We also love sharing delicious desserts from this establishment. It is easy to manage the menu. Despite being in the dark, you can still enjoy your meal at each table with enough lighting. We have had to endure long waits at this restaurant, even when we made a reservation. It's easy to see why diners love to stay here after experiencing this restaurant.Be our guestThis restaurant's Beauty and the Beast theme is perfect. The Grand Ballroom, West Wing, or Castle Gallery are all available for patrons. While the Grand Ballroom is the most popular and largest wing, we prefer the quieter experience in the Castle Gallery. The Gallery is quiet and peaceful, with Belle and Beast dancing, which is the most elaborate music box setup I've ever seen. We enjoy strolling through the three themed rooms each time we dine at this restaurant. We have always preferred a simple lunch at Be Our Guest. However, I noticed recently that the formal dinner menu is being offered at lunch. This experience is sure to please any Beauty and the Best fan.BiergartenThis is my favorite EPCOT restaurant. You are seated at large tables with other patrons, much like a Bavarian beer hall. The live band and dancing are a great entertainment for both the children (and the fun-loving adults). The restaurant used to be a buffet but now serves food family-style. The healthy beer portions have not changed.Cinderellas Royal TableIt is truly a unique experience to dine in Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom. We enjoyed meeting Cinderella and other princesses at dinner and breakfast. Unfortunately, character meet-and-greets are not possible at Castle. Breakfast was our favourite experience. We hope that the Castle will soon offer this option again. The food quality is excellent. The Castle was a little too rushed for my liking, but it is still a great experience.Crystal PalaceOur family is a big fan of Winnie the Pooh characters and this place is a great place to meet them (during normal times). They are generous with their time and pose for photos at multiple times. This location is a great place to enjoy late breakfasts and extend our stay. This Victorian-style restaurant boasts lots of natural light, greenery and Victorian architecture.Additional Disney World Table Service Restaurants to EnjoyWe have not yet been to any Disney World table service restaurants in Animal Kingdom. We have considered Yak & Yeti and Tusker House, but instead we have chosen Flame Tree Barbecue, more parks fun, and Tusker House. We've run out of food, so Chefs de France has been on our EPCOT list for a while. Fortunately, Disney World restaurants are an ongoing experience that we will continue to enjoy.Disney World Table Service RestaurantsWhile the pandemic has made it difficult to eat at Disney World's table service restaurants, there are still fun experiences. I am looking forward to seeing more options before our next trip. For vacationers staying longer at Disney World, table service restaurants are more convenient. These restaurants can eat up valuable time in the parks. The flip side is that a meal at a restaurant can be enough to give you a break from the hustle and bustle of the parks. You can also get discounts on expensive restaurants by using different gift cards. Which Disney World restaurant has been your favorite?
